Zedd

Fresh off handling headline duties at Digital Dreams on Sunday night, Zedd stopped by the KiSS 92.5 studios to chat with Adam Wylde!

Much to the dismay of many, rain and wind warnings forced the cancellation of Day 1 of Digital Dreams, but Canada’s largest electronic music festival carried on as planned on Sunday. The soggy conditions didn’t dampen the spirits of the fans who turned out in droves to watch one of dance musics most in demand producers bring the party to the main stage.

After Digital Dreams, Zedd played a surprise back to back set with Martin Garrix at Tattoo. Zedd explained to Adam that he’s not the type of guy to play after parties, but he did one recently with Martin, and they wanted the chance to do it again. “I’m kind of like a grandma when I’m on tour, I play the show, we talk about the show, and then I go to bed. I usually don’t party afterwards, but I’ve done that with Martin like a week ago, we played an after party back to back, so we did it again here. It was fun.”

Zedd just dropped his second album ‘True Colours‘, and he used a surprising platform to help promote it. If you’re a Zedd fan and you’re on Tinder, you may been shocked when you matched with his profile, but it’s not love that he’s looking for.

“That’s kinda the point of Tinder is to match with people you know like the same thing, so I matched with everyone I know liked me, and told them hey, bonjour, I have a new album. You might want to check it out”

Zedd is pals with dance musics most notorious internet troll, deadmau5, and a few years back he started the hashtag #Zeddception, urging everyone to change their profile picture to Zedd.

Now three years later, and #Zeddception is still going strong…
