How Much Are Your Instagram Posts Worth???

One of them might have already sold for 100K!!?? 

In the eyes of artist Richard Prince, your Instagram pictures are worth more than just the number of likes you receive. He took peoples Insta’s and is selling them for MASSIVE amounts of doe (like 100K!!!).

It might be time to adjust your privacy settings since he is taking them without permission, and keeping all the money for himself.

One girl, who goes by the name of “Doe Deere” on Instagram, came across this portrait of herself hanging on the wall of the Frieze Gallery in New York. She posted a picture and commented on her perspective on the matter…

Figured I might as well post this since everyone is texting me. Yes, my portrait is currently displayed at the Frieze Gallery in NYC. Yes, it's just a screenshot (not a painting) of my original post. No, I did not give my permission and yes, the controversial artist Richard Prince put it up anyway. It's already sold ($90K I've been told) during the VIP preview. No, I'm not gonna go after him. Prince is either a huge douche or is just trying redesign what we as a society consider photography. Shoutout to Apple for making iPhones that take awesome pictures!

Seriously, next time just ask for permission! I’m sure there are many people who would be willing to go splitzy on 100K. I know i would gladly take that deal!!
